Do You Believe? Star Senyo Amoaku Talks About New Film

Do You Believe?, the follow-up movie of the highly successful God's Not Dead film will be released on March 20, actor Senyo Amoaku hopes for audiences to see it and be moved by the incredibly important and inspirational storyline. He goes on to say "Its one of the most inspirational movies you'll ever see!"

"It's very intimate, the relationships involved, especially in terms of trust, so if trust, particularly in a spiritual or faith-based manner has had an effect on your life and relationships this is an incredible film to see."

Do You Believe? delves into the meat of the human experience in today's society. Senyo's character, Kriminal, is a leader of quartet of undesirables from Southside Chicago, he and his younger brother Pretty Boy (portrayed by Hip-hop star Shwayze), plan a heist in an attempt to better their family life. But when Pretty Boy comes to a spiritual discovery everything changes, for everyone involved. See the latest trailer here.

Pure Flix has produced this movie for theaters, following the success of their hit movie God's Not Dead. Like the movie Crash, the story of this film follows a dozen people moving in different directions who all long for something more. Their lives unexpectedly intersect around one important question, “Do you believe in God?” They each discover that there is power in the Cross of Christ, even if they don't yet believe it.

ABOUT SENYO AMOAKU:
Senyo Amoaku (born July 30, 1979) is an American film actor and composer. He was featured in The Expendables, a Lionsgate action epic released August 13, 2010, written and directed by Sylvester Stallone. He also appeared in a recurring role as a comedic bouncer named Ira in Gary Unmarried, on CBS. Senyo was born in Dayton, Ohio, and was raised in northern San Diego, California. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

As a first generation child Senyo toured the United States with his father Komla Amoaku a renowned music professor from Ghana, to different venues where he would watch his father teach and perform, dreaming of his day in the spotlight. After trying his hand successfully in many sports Senyo undertook a thriving hip-hop career that would have him perform alongside the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Tha Liks, Jerry Heller, The Nappy Roots, The Pharcyde and many more. Shortly after meeting his manager he booked his first national commercial with AOL, this began a string of national spots including EA Sports, Sprint, and Kraft Foods DiGiorno's Pizza.

Senyo recently co-starred opposite Anthony Anderson and Tracy Ellis-Ross in the ABC hit television series 'black·ish. Leading up to this, his first major starring role in a theatrical film release portraying the mastermind of a group of troubled youth in Pureflix's "Do You Believe?".
