In a World Sometimes Hostile To Hunting, Hunters Have Created Their Own Popular Social Platform For Legal, Ethical Hunting

Sheridan, WY -- This week new social media network www.HornStar.Net is celebrating their Grand Opening with a major growth in membership as hunters worldwide join to discuss their favorite sports.

Created by lifelong hunters, HornStar.net welcomes men and women involved in hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. The platform lets hunters connect and network with like minded individuals. They easily share stories, photos, and videos in an atmosphere that accepts, appreciates, and promotes hunting.

HornStar became necessary after hunters were repeatedly excluded, blocked, and flagged on major social network sites. "Most social media sites are very sensitive to animal lovers who will not tolerate any form of hunting. It was impossible for legal, ethical hunters to have a discussion," said Mike Sweeny, CMO/COO of Horn Star LLC. Sweeny started HornStar along with co-founders Nick Sweeny and Ty Julander.

On any given day members at HornStar.net are sharing, posting, following, and telling about their experiences as hunters, anglers, and outdoor adventurers. "We've got people discussing elk, deer, bear, mountain lion, shed hunting, and all other big game and predator hunting to fishing and camping, to your latest rock climb," Nick Sweeny said.

Recently Facebook shut down a group focused on the selling and trading of firearms for hunting. HornStar welcomes those members with discussion areas designed specially for hunters who sell and trade.

Membership at HornStar.net is free, but applicants are screened before being allowed to participate. "We want to make sure everyone here is a law abiding, ethical hunter," Julander said.

All states in the United States, as well as most nations, offer legal hunting and fishing, often with the goal of controlling animal populations to keep them healthy.

Members can upgrade to a paid membership to get exclusive content, access to exclusive deals, affiliate programs, drawings and giveaways of over 50,000 products and services.

Major brand names who offer hunting and camping tools, equipment, and supplies have flocked to HornStar.net as affiliates who help the site fund operations.

Recently HornStar partnered with “Hunting with Soldiers” to drive awareness to that organization. Any member who signs up through “Hunting with Soldiers” and enters discount code Soldier226840 for a paid membership gets a $20.00 discount on a $69.99 annual membership. Horn Star then matches that $20.00 discount and pays it back to “Hunting with Soldiers.”

"It's a small token of appreciation for the sacrifices our men and women in uniform have given and continue to give us," Nick Sweeny said.

Meanwhile, some of the world's best hunters have just begun a lively discussion of their "ideal kill experience." And all are glad they have a new social media site that protects their right to enjoy one of America's great interests.

"We all have a passion to learn about and experience one of God's greatest creations - The Great Outdoors," Julander said.

Pre-owned Comprehensive Car Buying and Selling Experience Launches Online

NEW YORK – Using a blend of both on and offline systems, Carloha promises to make pre-owned car buying and selling simple and quick.

Unlike traditional methods where customers would deal with dealers and possibly shady private owners, Carloha cuts out the middleman and works with the customer directly for an experience that is superior in both sales and customer service.

Something Carhola offers their customers that a private sale will not is a 203-point inspection, and all cars are under six years old and 60,000 miles.

“Our 203 point inspection is greater than the average dealership inspection process. This way we insure that the cars we sell are in the best possible condition before we put it on our website. It is another way we are working to set ourselves apart,” said CEO Liang Long.

Buyers find Carloha’s buying process easier than most car buying experiences. This includes no DMV hassles, and delivers the car to the buyer’s doorstep.

“We guaranty to deliver every car to customer’s doorstep, and for those customers that want to pick up the car by themselves, we flown them in to pick the car up,” said Liang.

New owners have a 10-day grace period to test drive, and all cars come with a 100-day, 3,000-mile warranty for the best in customer service and protection.

Sellers will have an equally quick and painless transaction. Fill out the required information on the site, and sellers will receive a quote and inspection. After a buyer puts in an order, a representative will come hand deliver a check for the agreed on price and take the car. The seller’s responsibilities, including selling and meeting potential buyers, end when the representative drives away.

“Carloha has changed the car buying and selling experience,” said Liang.

Carloha offers delivery nationwide. For the selling service, coverage includes NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington D.C. Plans are to expand across the country.

This St Patrick's Day GO EMERALD GREEN

ALDERNEY, CHANNEL ISLANDS  / February 3, 2016 / From pints to parades, floats to flowers, landmark buildings, and even rivers - everything turns green for St Patrick's Day.
Now it's time to think green too!
That's the message behind Emerald Heritage's 'GO EMERALD GREEN for St Patrick's Day' - a campaign designed to celebrate Irish pride and help combat a threat precious few people even know exists.
"We all refer to the 'Emerald' Isle, but did you know that the Irish landscape is now actually the most de-forested in Europe?" said Emerald Heritage Director and founder, Lyn Nelson.
"In fact, we are at crisis point with just 1% of native woodland still remaining."
"As we look ahead to this year's St Patrick's Day our aim is, with the help of Irish men and woman around the world, to address this sobering statistic and to protect and preserve our landscape and heritage before it's too late."
With this goal in mind Emerald Heritage has devised an ingenious way to enable people to rally to the cause, and at the same time have fun celebrating their Irish ancestry.
Lyn explains: "We pulled our resources to purchase land in the glorious Glens of Antrim [officially designated An Area Of Outstanding Beauty] and utilising a quirk in the Land Registry law here that allows the sale of souvenir plots of land."
"The Diaspora may have cast Irish men and women to the four corners, but they can now reclaim a piece of their heritage and become a bona fide landowner.”
Each plot purchased saves it from the developer's digger and allows Emerald Heritage [in conjunction with their partners like The Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust] to plant trees, rejuvenate and regenerate the landscape, and protect this ancestral homeland of leafy glades and tumbling waterfalls, rugged cliffs, and welcome as warm as a roaring turf fire."
As a fully authenticated landowner you can visit at any time, pass it on to future generations, and even enjoy the craic with family and friends by calling yourself a Squireen [an old Irish term for small landowner that can be used on utility bills etc].
The environment is, of course, a global problem. But what better way to play your part in the battle against climate change than to start close to home, in the Old Country we all hold so dear?
"So if you're proud of your Irish ancestry, or know someone who is, please join us in the fight to safeguard Ireland's landscape and heritage"
"Let's make this St Patrick's Day extra special. Let's make it about celebration AND conservation."
