New Apps Gaining Popularity With Help From 3rd Party Websites

Chicago, IL / There are thousands of apps being developed on a weekly basis that can be downloaded at no cost. But how do you find the one with every single feature you need it to have?

One way for developers to gain popularity for a specific app is to find their way onto 3rd party websites that like what their app has to offer. Websites such as 5AppsLike.com give side by side comparisons of some of the most popular apps on the market.

Most of the apps that are listed on sites such as 5 Apps Like you may have never heard of because they are either new or they haven’t gained much of the market share yet. However, you might find that some of these apps offer better features than the ones you are currently using.

“We wanted to show people that there are other apps on Google Play or the Apple store that actually offer more than an app they are currently using.” Says Andrew Wilcox, owner & operator of 5 Apps Like. “For instance, Clash of Clans has blown up over the past year and leads the charts in top grossing apps. Did you know that there are dozens of games just like it now on the app store that can be downloaded at no cost? It is our goal to make people aware of those games!”

One app that is gaining popularity through 3rd party websites is Deezer. The Deezer app is a new music app like Pandora that is free to download on your phone or tablet. This app uses your music tastes to only play your favorite songs and artists.

Look for 5AppsLike.com as well as other similar websites to continue pushing the new and upcoming apps on the market!

New "Student's Guide to Science Fair Projects" Gives Students Winning Edge in Competitive Trend

Chicago, IL -- New book "Student's Guide to Science Fair Projects -- Step-by-Step For a Winning Edge" is the student and parents' guide to winning in an increasingly competitive field.

Author Madeline Binder, who has advanced degrees in education and human services counseling, is a former teacher and noted expert on science fairs. Her previous books include "Teacher's Guide to Science Fair Projects," "Super Science Fair Projects," and "How to Prepare Your Students For The Day of the Fair."

All Binder's books are available at http://www.super-science-fair-projects.com.
"Science Fairs have become big business because businesses and medical institutions are looking to sponsor bright new talent," Binder said. Consequently expectations are rising for kids who enter a major science fair such as those sponsored by INTEL and GOOGLE.

Student's Guide to Science Fair Projects gives readers step-by-step, easy to understand instructions for conceiving, creating, and presenting a winning project amid formidable competition.

The new book includes a thorough discussion of:
* 6 steps of the Scientific Method
* 8 steps for the Engineering Design Process
* How to keep a Laboratory Book & Design Notebook

Binder provides guidance for the budding scientist who wants to do original work as well as for the student who just wants to get their project completed. To help students think of good project ideas, the book offers 201 science ideas created by science teachers. These serve as a good place to start.

The book also includes a chapter for parents. "Your help and support is critical to your student's success, but you don't want to do the work for your child," Binder said.

Binder says a winning science fair project takes three months of steady preparation. The student needs a regular space to work where their materials will not be disturbed.

Science fairs have become more demanding and competitive. Preparation is now more sophisticated. While teachers are tasked with helping students develop projects, teachers don't have the extensive time needed to give ambitious students all the assistance they need.

"A science fair experiment requires all the steps of the scientific method. Those creating a new design or working to improve a design use the Engineering Design Process. The book explains step-by-step how to impress judges with your knowledge and use of these methods," Binder said.

Nic Easley, CEO of 3C to speak at 2016 Emerald Conference

Denver, Colo., - The ongoing statewide legalization of marijuana, and its subsequent rise in interest across the U.S., has given a boom to new businesses within the cannabis industry, with one being consulting services.

Comprehensive Cannabis Consulting (3C) is dedicated to the sustainability, profitability and proper stewardship of cannabis.

“This is a task we do not take lightly,” said Nic Easley, CEO of 3C, “and one that we are wanting to educate more and more of the populace on all of the benefits of sustainable cannabis.”

The recent legal wins for cannabis oils for medical purposes in strongly conservative states has more and more people looking into all facets of cannabis beyond recreational usage.
“This is one of the topics I would like to address,” continued Easley, “there is more to cannabis than recreational smoking. There are extrinsic values for the plant that many do not understand.”

Easley refers to the 2016 Emerald Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was chosen as a guest speaker at this year's event.

Dedicated to the science of cannabis, the Emerald Conference has continued to be on the forefront of activism across all disciplines. The conference is open to any interested in the field from politicians to scientists and activists. There will be multiple vendors, business ventures and contacts at the conference, and all will have the same shared goal as Easley.
“We want education to be on the forefront of the industry. The more people we can educate about the positive elements of cannabis and its culture, the better. This is something that is not going away and continues to grow. 3C wants to hear from anyone who is interested in starting or growing a business around cannabis cultivation,” said Easley.
