St. Louis based RSM Federal Presents at the 2014 National Veterans Small Business Conference

 OFALLON, Mo. -- ST. LOUIS - RSM Federal, a federal consulting and strategic marketing firm, is pleased to announce that subject matter experts Joshua Frank and Michael LeJeune were chosen to present at the 2014 National Veteran’s Small Business Conference at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Both Frank and LeJeune have over 20 years of experience in government contracting, are regarded as experts in this field, and both are routinely asked to present and keynote at national conferences. Mr. Frank wrote The Government Sales Manual – the most comprehensive guide to federal government contracting on the market. Mr. LeJeune, author of two business books, also worked under the guidance of Anthony Robbins and the late Chet Holmes in their business consulting division.

Mr. Frank presented sessions on federal business capture and advanced teaming strategies. “One of the key reasons companies fail to successfully sell to the government is that many companies focus on educating themselves but don’t understand how to apply what they've learned. Education is not enough. Attending conferences and training events are not enough. You have to understand the techniques and strategies that help you apply what you’ve learned to be successful,” stated Frank.

 Mr. LeJeune presented a session on advanced data mining based on the Federal Procurement Data System. “Companies tend to underestimate the value of gathering business intelligence before developing a government capture strategy. This session helped attendees identify who buys what they sell, how much, how often, their competition, and potential teaming partners,” stated LeJeune.

During the conference, RSM Federal was notified that two of their clients were awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs $550 million ADVISOR contract. Both companies relied on the training, templates, and resources provided through RSM Federal’s new Federal Access Program. Federal Access formally launches in the spring of 2015 and will be one of the most advanced and comprehensive programs of its kind for government contractors. There are currently 150 companies piloting the program.
