Exercise only a single part of overall weight loss programme

A recent article highlighting exercise mentions an interesting fact. In part, the authors of the story note that obesity can be bested with regular exercise. One of the authors, a British cardiologist, notes the problem is the caloric intake and specifically, the wrong type of calories.
“The rise of processed foods, heavily sugared drinks and convenience foods have drastically changed the dietary habits of everyone in the world, and here in Ireland, it is fast approaching epidemic proportions,” said Cindy Segura, owner of Be Fit Club in Dublin, Ireland.
Segura is fast to point out her programme is not a gym, but a support and education system designed around proper habits to lose, control and maintain a healthy weight.
“I am having a membership drive. It is the heart of summer, and people are looking to get into and stay in swimwear shape. It is not long until the holiday season, however. This means lots of sweets, high simple carbohydrate foods and overeating,” added Segura.
Be Fit works with individuals and creates plans that are simple to follow and teach a slow, progressive weight loss of about two to four pounds a week.
A membership drive is currently underway, and the drive has a special pricing promotion. The promotion expires at the end of this month, making it the perfect time to sign up and get started.
“Actually, the best time to sign up for my programme was yesterday. Today looks good too,” said Segura.
Signing up now means plenty of time to learn the proper habits and detoxify the body. Something that Segura notes is vital to overall health.
“People do not realize it, but the processed foods eaten actually do more damage to the body than good. Sluggishness, antipathy and poor habits are only small symptoms of certain additives that the body is trying to tell us it does not want,” Segura added, “which is why education is so important and a core element of my programme.”
The education consists of counseling and coaching for everyone. New clients receive a full body composition check before developing a personalised plan.
More information, including the registration information, is on the website.
