Putting in a Google News Alert

Here is how it works. Navigate to the Google News page, and just click the news alerts website link.

Then, you set a topic, by setting any variety of search phrases that retrieved items need to get, the kind of news you would like, how often you desire it, and your email. That's it -seriously. You will need to confirm your email, but I've made Google news alerts in about 45 seconds, max.

After your account is verified, you have accessibility not merely to Google's news tracker, but a ton of other cool stuff; which includes Google Groups, Answers, and Web APIs. Go on and sign in and further personalize your news tracking. The web based interface and directions make this process straightforward.

Google will now send you news alerts that you've selected to your email inbox, at the pace you need, from once a day, one time per week, or once the news happens. Google has access to literally 1000's of press means, and I've discovered that when I'm needing more of a variety of resources on 1 topic, they tend to come through.
