Hermes International Expo to Celebrate 25th Anniversary in Delaware County

March 27, 2016 (Philadelphia, PA) – Celebrating its 25th year, Hermes Expo International, the premier business networking trade show & exhibition conference, will resume its annual expo in Philadelphia on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Best Western Plus Concordville Hotel.

Ambient Clinical Analytics announces a collaboration with Philips on new clinical analytics solution to enhance staff efficiency in critical care

ROCHESTER, MN Ambient Clinical Analytics today at HIMSS 2016 announced a collaboration with Philips on their launch of IntelliSpace Console Critical Care, a cloud-based clinical decision support dashboard. IntelliSpace Console is a novel user interface designed to improve critical care, standardize clinical decision making, enhance patient monitoring and better implement quality metrics that is based on Mayo Clinic bedside analytics technology – AWARE 
(Ambient Warning and Response Evaluation) that is licensed and commercialized by Ambient Clinical. The easy-to-read dashboard gives clinicians access to patient data across multiple systems and EMRs to help streamline, prioritize and analyze data quickly.

In critical care settings where every second counts, clinicians need to make timely care decisions and navigating the vast amounts of clinical data available at the patient bedside can make it difficult for clinicians to analyze so much information at once. IntelliSpace Console aims to address this issue comprehensively and transform patient data from multiple sources into actionable insights. The dashboard provides intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists and other specialists with the clinical information needed to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently in critical care settings, leading to greater productivity, and enhancing the accessibility of traditional EMR data.

The amount of patient data available in the Intensive Care Units is incredible, but it also places a substantial burden on the acting clinician to make quick and effective patient care decisions while making sense of mountains of information,” said Vitaly Herasevich, MD, PhD, of Mayo Clinic, one of the co-inventors of the technology. “This new solution is formatted as a real-time dashboard that organizes information the way a clinician processes data in a real-life patient scenario to facilitate decision making. Adding Value to the Care Process
The transition to value-based care is driving an increasing number of business and Health IT challenges – including EMR implementation, interoperability, meaningful use, accountable care and healthcare reform. At this year’s HIMSS event in Las Vegas, Philips will be demonstrating how integrated software and health IT solutions like IntelliSpace Console can address these challenges by collecting, combining and delivering quality data that help improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and improve quality of care.

IntelliSpace Console’s user interface, which is rendered using evidence-based guidelines, provides clinicians with an overview of the entire patient population, including acuity level, details on life support, and other key information to help clinicians make more informed decisions when developing patient care plans. The dashboard harmonizes the information on each patient to ensure that each clinician sees the same information.

A Cloud-Based Dashboard
IntelliSpace Console will be hosted on Philips HealthSuite digital platform (HSDP), an open, secure cloud-based platform that powers solutions that can collect, compile, store and analyze clinical and other data from multiple devices and sources. The HSDP supports the secure collection of all types of data related to health and lifestyle so consumers, patients and caregivers can make more confident health and lifestyle-related decisions with the next generation of connected health and wellness innovation, such as IntelliSpace Console.

Mayo Clinic developed IntelliSpace Console under the product name AWARE1 (Ambient Warning and Response Evaluation) and Philips is partnering with Ambient Clinical Analytics to bring the technology to market in the second half of 2016. Together, with the United States Critical Illness and Injury Trials Group, these organizations received a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) award from CMS to research the impact of using a cloud-based clinical decision support solution with a novel user interface for the ICU.

Mayo Clinic and Dr. Herasevich have a financial interest in the technology referenced in this news release. Revenue Mayo Clinic receives is used to support its not-for-profit mission in patient care, education and research.

IntelliSpace Console is expected to be available to a limited number of hospitals later this year. Philips will be showcasing IntelliSpace Console Critical Care technology at booth #3416 at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2016 Annual Meeting and Exhibition, taking place Feb. 29 – March 4, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, NV. Hip hop artist and entrepreneur announces album, business venture

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ferrari Forbes, American hip hop artist, is pleased to announce his first long play venture and self-titled album due on June 3. His first three mix-tape releases saw excellent air play and was a hit among listeners. He followed up that success with his debut single No Chance and started his own record label at the same time.

His current focus is his first full debut album entitled, appropriately, Ferrari Forbes, and is destined to make the hip hop charts and scenes.

 "I expect this project to be in the discussion for hip hop album of the year,” said Forbes in a recent interview.

Far from being idle or spending his time strictly on his music, Forbes is also launching his first luxury brand. Called “Trilioni,” Italian for trillions, the online store focuses on top quality footwear for the discriminating gentleman or lady of refined taste. His first line, apply named Spring 2016, is already available for preview on the website.

This is a new business venture as an extension of who I am as an artist and model. I am also a man of taste and talents outside of music. Trilioni is merely this extension of who I am,” said Forbes.

A full clothing line is expected for Fall 2016. Meanwhile, Forbes is spending most of his time concentrating on finishing his album for his fans.
